- About the Practice
Our client is a well-established GP surgery caring for approximately 9,500 patients and is rated Good by the CQC.
The practice is committed to delivering outstanding patient care while ensuring clinicians have the time and support needed to provide safe, high-quality medicine.
The surgery uses TPP SystmOne and benefits from a highly experienced multidisciplinary team including:
- Nurse Prescribers
- Practice Nurses
- Visiting Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs)
- Clinical Pharmacist
- Pharmacy Technician
- First Contact Physiotherapist
- Mental Health Practitioner
- Social Prescriber
- Dedicated Administrative Support Team
As part of a proactive Primary Care Network, the practice continues to invest in innovation and additional clinical services to improve both patient outcomes and clinician wellbeing.
The Role
As a Salaried GP, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care whilst working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting face-to-face, telephone and remote GP consultations
- Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions
- Developing treatment and management plans
- Prescribing safely in accordance with local and national guidance
- Promoting preventative healthcare and patient education
- Managing long-term conditions including diabetes, asthma and hypertension
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic investigations
- Maintaining accurate and contemporaneous clinical records
- Making referrals to secondary care and community services where appropriate
- Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team
- Participating in clinical governance, audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused primary care
- Person Specification Essential
- Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practise
- Inclusion on the NHS England Performers List
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a GP within the UK
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical decision-making skills
- Commitment to delivering outstanding patient-centred care
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Desirable
- Experience using TPP SystmOne
- Interest in quality improvement or service development
- Experience working within UK Primary Care
