The Role
As a Salaried GP, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care whilst working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering face-to-face, telephone and online GP consultations
-
Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions
-
Managing patients under the GMS Contract and Enhanced Services
-
Prescribing safely in accordance with local and national guidance
-
Maintaining accurate clinical records and coding consultations appropriately
-
Reviewing pathology results, prescriptions and clinical correspondence
-
Supporting achievement of Quality & Outcomes Framework (QOF) and Investment & Impact Fund (IIF) targets
-
Participating in clinical governance, audits and quality improvement initiatives
-
Providing clinical supervision and support to nursing staff, GP Registrars and medical students where appropriate
-
Participating in vaccination and immunisation programmes
-
Undertaking home visits when clinically required
-
Working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding patient care
-
Participating in the duty doctor rota and supporting colleagues when required
About the Practice
Our client is a well-established GP surgery caring for approximately 13,000 patients within a supportive Primary Care Network.
The practice offers the perfect balance between delivering personalised continuity of care within a welcoming surgery while benefiting from the wider support and resources of a larger PCN.
The surgery is based within a modern purpose-built healthcare facility with excellent transport links and provides a positive working environment where clinicians are encouraged to develop professionally and pursue areas of clinical interest.

Fully qualified General Practitioner

Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practise

Included on the NHS England Performers List

Eligible to work independently within UK General Practice

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong clinical decision-making abilities

Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Membership of an approved medical defence organisation

Full UK driving licence (for home visits where required)

Recent UK Primary Care experience
